Silent Film Star Bookplates - Part Two

Charlie Chaplin (1889-1997) had at least two bookplates
.In addition, to his many other talents he also designed at least one bookplate for his wife , Paulette Goddard (1910-1990) .
Bookplate for Paulette Goddard designed by her husband Charlie Chaplin.. They appeared together in Modern Times.
Here is a film clip     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjoDZ-g3Ugo
I underestimated the scope of this project when I started it.
I suspect it will take at least four postings, especially if I start adding film clips.
I have also added some new links and film clips to last weeks posting (part one).

Jack (Grandson number two) is visiting this week end . What a delight.
See you again tomorrow.

The film "Modern Times", is a must see for anyone who loves Charlie Chaplin. He is at his best as the Tramp, and he has wonderful chemistry with Paulette Goddard. My favorite scenes: when he is fed by a "modern" machine that goes awry, and when Charlie goes crazy in the factory.
